Martine Gourbalt Martine Gourbault was born in Paris and emigrated in 1957 to Toronto where she received her art education at the Central Technical School of Art, graduating at the top of her class in 1961. Her career has taken her through working as a designer and art director for Chatelaine, Miss Chatelaine, Flare and enRoute magazines as well as a freelancing as illustrator for those and other Canadian publications. She has also illustrated 13 children’s books for publishers in the US, UK and Canada. As a painter, she has exhibited her work at the FCA, Artworks, the Tensho Gallery, Kurbatoff gallery and Aaron Ross. She has also participated in group shows at Marshall Clark in Tsawwassen and Canada House in Banff. Her work appears in private collections in Canada, the US, the UK and Europe. |

Michael Abrahams Described as "hip" in Star magazine, Michael Abrahams personal coups have included sold out shows and shining reviews in the Vancouver Sun. He has had numerous one man exhibitions, including at the Jan Baum Gallery in Los Angeles, and Gallery Jones in Vancouver. He was selected to showcase "Canada’s artistic genius, representing the best of the contemporary scene" at the Asia Pacific Economic Conference (Apecʼ97). Abraham has been interviewed by the CBC, Vancouver Television and Urban Rush. His paintings have been on Common Ground magazine, Vancouver Symphony’s Allegro, on the promotional material for the Vancouver Opera Society’s 2008- 2009 season, as well as glimpsed at in InStyle magazine. Abraham's original oil paintings are in collections from London to Singapore, and Philadelphia to Amsterdam. With work in the Vancouver Art Gallery, and various corporate, public and private collections there are also two paintings in the collection of Courtney Cox and David Arquette. |

Phillipe Raphanel Phillipe Raphanel was born in Paris,France. In 1978, he graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supèrieure des Arts Appliquès, Paris, France and received a diploma in Fine Arts. He immigrated to Canada in 1981 and has since exhibited his work across Canada and in the United States, South Korea and Australia. He has received numerous Canada Council grants and was also awarded the prestigious VIVA award in 1996. He taught prestigious VIVA award in 1996. He taught at Simon Fraser University and has been teaching at Emily Carr University of Art & Design since 1993. Raphanel is represented by the Equinox Gallery in Vancouver. He currently lives and works in Vancouver, BC and Brasília, Brazil. |
