Myrtle-Anne Rempel graduated from the University College of the Fraser Valley with a major in Painting and Printmaking. She has exhibited extensively and has won many awards in Canada and the USA.

Myrtle-Anne seeks to evoke emotion from her viewers as light, shadows and textures play across her colourful paintings to create many different moods. 

She was awarded signature status in the Federation of Canadian Artists in 2003 (SFCA). She was also awarded signature status with the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour (CSPWC) in 2001. Her work is included in many private, corporate and government collections in Canada, USA, Ireland, Austria, France and Africa.

In addition to her art, Myrtle-Anne works has previously worked as a free-lance interior designer. She has been on the boards of the Abbotsford Symphony , the Crystal Gala for the Fraser Valley Breast Cancer Society and Mill Lake Arts Center.
