The majority of the Federation Gallery exhibitions are open to FCA Active and Signature Members, however some shows are open to all artists. The submission guidelines below apply to all those who wish to participate. In order to present an interesting variety of work, shows tend to be organized around a broad theme and are not medium specific. Paintings, drawings and original hand-pulled prints are welcome but photographs, video, sculpture and mass reproductions such as gicless are beyond the scope of our mandate.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

New FCA Shipment Policy 2008

1.  Federation Gallery will arrange to have paintings packed, insured and returned to the artist, at their request. Expenses and risk are the liability of the artist. Solely as an accommodation to our artists, we will pack and ship their work from FCA premises.

2.  The Artist is aware and accepts that Federation Gallery does not operate a professional packaging service and that it provides such assistance for the convenience only of the artist.

3.  All packing, handling and shipping charges shall be at the artist’s expense and they shall arrange terms with the carrier. Should the artist have “prepaid” or made “collect” arrangements with the carrier, it is understood all is at the artist’s discretion.

4. Federation Gallery Manager will not contact and/or remind artists about return shipments or ask the artist for insurance values. An instruction form will be provided on the FCA web site that the artist can download to include with each work of art.

Group Shows
