Scottish born, Sheila Adams, came to Canada in 1956 and made Calgary her home where the rugged beauty of Western Canada, with its Rocky Mountains, Foothills and Alberta plains provided ideal subject matter for her work in oils and acrylic. Always open to new concepts, she has explored various aspects of painting, experimenting with colour and design. Sheila's work can be seen in collections across Canada, Great Britain, South Africa and the United States.
