Danny Han-Lin Chen blends his training in traditional Chinese watercolour techniques with modern western realism. Danny has been an art instructor for more than 20 years and is a sought-after instructor of many visual art disciplines: watercolour, oil, acrylics, pastels and sculpture. His subject matter spans florals, wildlife, portraits, abstracts and beyond. He has earned distinction for his outstandingly delicate florals on Chinese rice paper. He is very willing to engage in discussions of style, media and art history, and revels in the diversity that his students pursue. Danny holds an Associate status in the Federation of Canadian Artists (A.F.C.A.). His paintings have consistently won awards in distinguished international competitions - having participated in exhibitions in many parts of North America, as well as in China, Taiwan and Britain. His paintings can be found in both private and public collections in many countries.
