Gaye Adams has been drawing and painting since childhood. She is a signature member of the Pastel Society of Canada and holds AFCA status with the Federation of Canadian Artists. Her work has been published in "Pastel Artist International" on three seperate occasions and also in
International Artist Magazine. Her work has won awards in juried competitions at the local, national and international levels.

Gaye has held soft pastel as her favorite medium for over 20 years now, because she so much enjoys its fresh, direct nature.

The artist paints mostly the everyday, the landscapes and the animals that surround her in her daily life in the interior of BC. The main goal of the artist is quite simply to explore the light, design, and beauty of the ordinary and to engage the viewer in the process.
