DEBBIE MILNER, AFCA

Debbie was born in North Vancouver, British Columbia in 1960. The passion to be an artist has been her childhood dream. Her Mother always made sure she had art supplies close at hand. Debbie graduated from Carson Graham High School in North Vancouver with a Fine Arts Scholarship. After getting married and raising a family of four, she finally pursued her career as an artist.

Debbie is a self-taught artist. In the past twelve years she has studied and mastered both the watercolor and acrylic mediums. She is enticed and fascinated by the way sunlight transforms each object it touches. Whatever her subject matter may be, she sets out to ‘capture the light’. Debbie starts with a reference but takes the liberty and freedom to put her own voice into each painting.
