Elected to senior signature status by the FCA in 1993, NEIL PATTERSON, SFCA, ASA, OPA, KA is an Alberta artist whose vibrant oil paintings of prairie scenes are so stimulating and powerful that they almost stun the viewer. He received his fine art training at the University of Calgary, as well as studying under California impressionist, Ted Goerschner and at the Scottsdale Artists School in Arizona. Patterson’s paintings and teaching expertise are in constant demand and his list of corporate and private collectors is long indeed. His professional affiliations (including signature status in the Alberta Society of Artists, Oil Painters of America and Knickerbocker artists), awards, exhibitions and published works are a testament to his success. Patterson lives with his family in Bragg Creek, Alberta, in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, where there is no end of stimulation for his colourful works.
