JANICE ROBERTSON, SFCA JANICE ROBERTSON, SFCA creates wonderful watercolour and acrylic florals and landscapes charged with light and energy. She is an award-winning senior member of the FCA, whose life completely embraces art: painting, teaching and performing on the FCA Board of Directors. Janices work is reflective of her life on the west coast of British Columbia where she was born into a family with a long history of women artists. The artists still life work is brilliantly enhanced by use of brass and copper, reflecting lights and darks, while her newest paintings echo her recent trips to Tuscany, showing the colour contrasts of centuries-old figures and buildings against lush greens of the countryside. Robertson has attained a great deal of respect as a professional artist in a short period of time and she is represented by galleries in B.C. and Ontario. She is married to internationally-acclaimed artist Alan Wylie.
