Renew Your Membership for 2022


FCA memberships are based on the calendar year (Jan 1 - Dec. 31) and expire on December 31. Renewals may be done online (click the "Renew your Membership" botton above) between October 1 and the end of February. After that you will need to phone the office (604-681-2740) or mail a cheque.


At this time, any membership not renewed for 2021 is considered expired and will not be granted access to services. All members, however, are more than welcome to restart their membership at any time.  

*Note: Expired Active and Signature Status - if your membership lapsed more than a year ago your options are to either pay for the lapsed years of membership to maintain your status or you may choose to start over as a Supporting member and go through the jurying process again (either online jurying via Head Office or chapter jurying).  Please contact the Membership Coordinator, Tessa McIntosh, to discuss details further at 604-681-2740 or send an email to

Other Payment Options:

We strongly encourage our members to pay their membership dues online. Paying online will ensure a seamless transaction and your membership is instantly updated. We also accept payments via cheque, over the phone, and in person at the Federation Gallery.

Chapter Membership:

Besides paying their chapter dues, Chapter members are required to pay membership fees to the Vancouver head office in order to be a member in good standing. Please note: Those are two different payments with two different recipients. Chapter membership fees need to be paid directly to the respective Chapter, whereas the head office membership fees are payable to the Federation of Canadian Artists in Vancouver.




  • Platinum: $1000 +
  • Gold: $500 to $999
  • Silver: $101 to $499
  • Bronze: $1 to $100

The Federation of Canadian Artists is a registered charity. Your tax deductible donation helps the FCA support the artistic endeavors of its members. Please join the growing list of donors - we couldn't do it without you. We issue charitable tax receipts for donations of $50.00 and more.


To make a General Donation  (donations that go to our general revenue) with your membership renewal, simply click "Add a Fee" once you get to the renewal screen.


If you would simply like to donate without renewing a membership, select Award Donation (donations that go to our Prize Awards for juried shows) .
