Artist's Statement
Using the play of light and shadow, I love to create a story of sorts, through the play of light, color and shadow. I have always been drawn to creating the 'plot' using light radiating through and on things, and reflective light, to accentuate the mood and set the scene. I am drawn to the bouncing light on a persons cheek, the beam of light through a grouping of trees, or the way that colour in the depth of water changes every second. The Drama!; ethereal story telling; a dance of sorts, through light, colour, and shadow. Random things inspire me in many ways, that allow me to release my story through painting and creating.
