"Pearl of the Ocean" is a reflection of the Beautiful British Columbia's bodies of water. Using plaster to recreate the movement of the waves and the rhythm and flow of the water. The various colors which are exhibited through glazing technique shows the different depth of the sea levels. The usage of different materials and mediums reflect the rich biodiversity of the underwater life--the corals, the sea creature, the pearls, etc.--that  harmonizes perfectly to create a bigger picture of a wondrous creation!

This piece will not be included in the physical exhibition on Granville Island but meets the quality standards of the FCA and is classified as, "Recognized Artwork."
