What do people do when they think no one is around? Have you ever danced naked in a room by yourself? Sung to music and mimicked the star? Jiggled and wiggled, jumped for joy? Behind closed doors we take many poses and try on many new versions of ourselves. Charcoal figure drawings were applied to the substrate then worked with acrylic, pen, and other charcoal to find movement and texture in this painting.
