Description:
Inspired by the works of Lawren Harris, Doris McCarthy, and Rockwell Kent, I have travelled to remote regions of the planet to find inspiration for my art.
Overnight, the ship traversed the Davis Strait enroute from Baffin Island to Greenland. All aboard awoke with it anchored in the fjord with a view of Uummannaq – looking in the other direction from the town, I was astonished to see a enormous iceberg nearby, its three towering pillars of ice glowing blue. Behind it, the first rays of early morning appeared in the distance.
