The portrait exhibited is created from 100 percent pure coffee on cotton rag paper! This sustainable, practical, non-toxic medium gives the painting an overall sepia effect which is the color of nostalgia. The medium is very similar to watercolour. However, coffee exudes an aroma which makes you feel relaxed when painting. Additionally, the subject of this painting is my Father, who loves coffee very much! I believe this painting medium significantly fits him.
