About The 2021 Bloom Exhibition:

Bloom is an annual celebration of spring at the Federation of Canadian Artists. Painters are encouraged to submit floral artworks to exhibit alongside stunning flower arrangements presented by the Vancouver Branch of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana.

This is a qualifying call for submission. Acceptance into this exhibition counts as one point towards Signature Status Applications with the Federation of Canadian Artists. Learn more about Signature Membership here.

Mrs. Kiyoko Boycott started teaching Sogetsu Ikebana in Vancouver in 1963. The Sogetsu Vancouver Branch was formalized in 1985. Sogetsu Vancouver has a growing membership who learn and enjoy the Japanese art of ikebana together. Throughout the year members participate in a number of exhibitions in the Greater Vancouver area. I
