Welcome to the site of Antje Martens-Oberwelland, a Visual Artist and Children's Writer, living in Southern Ontario, Canada.
Antje's paintings cover a variety of subjects, mostly inspired by nature and animals. Her style of work reaches from representational to semi-abstract.
Antje's nonfiction articles for parents and children of all ages have been published by Canadian and US magazines. She currently works on a chapter book manuscript for intermediate readers as well as on a YA historical fiction novel.
