My husband loves bisons. Though he often inspires me to paint, watching him observing these majestic animals with a sense of admiration and contentment, gave me great pleasure. Naturally, I found untreated wood a suitable substrate for this painting and the careful application of shellac-based ink seemed to mirror this almost sacred moment he enjoyed. One wrong movement and these beasts can be greatly dangerous. One wrong brush stroke and ink wouldn't be forgiving.
