This painting was inspired by the mysterious and most majestic lake in Quebec, Lac Témiscouata. The lake, created by glaciers, is 45 km long and 5 km wide and puzzled already early settlers looking for a way around. Surrounded by hills and forest, it mesmerizes with a spellbinding charm that invites to go swimming or boating despite its depth and strong current.
