The 2022 Retreat takes place in beautiful Bamfield, British Columbia. Based at the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre, you'll experience some of the most breathtaking plein air painting locations the West Coast has to offer.
Buchanan lodge will be our home base for the 2022 retreat. Each room is shared occupancy, two to a room. If you'd like to stay with a friend, be sure to email education@artists.ca with your room share request, after making your booking.
In the company of our Master Instructors:
Gaye Adams, SFCA and
you'll spend your days creating, painting and developing your skills, while painting en plein air.
In the evenings, you'll have the opportunity to join your peers for a variety of fun social events or take the time to relax and explore your surroundings.

FEES ARE INCLUSIVE OF:
- 4 days of instruction with the chance to paint with each Master Instructor
- All evening social activities
- 3 meals and all snacks daily - for the duration of your stay
- 5 nights accommodation
- 1 goodie bag per artist registrant
All inclusive - $2,190
A 50% deposit of $1,095 (as reflected below) is due at time of registration with the balance due by May 2nd, 2022.
Cancellation / Refunds:
- 100% refund is available until March 7th 2022 at noon.
- Before May 2nd we will be providing a 50% refund on the full retreat fee.
- After May 2nd we will not be providing refunds.
- Registrations are transferable - you can gift your spot to a friend!
