The Federation Retreat is the largest educational and social event of the year, hosted by the Federation of Canadian Artists.

The 2025 Summer Retreat will take place in beautiful Wolfville, Nova Scotia. Based at Acadia University, you'll experience some of the most breathtaking plein air painting locations the east coast have to offer.
In the company of our Master Instructors:
you'll spend your days creating, painting and developing your skills, while painting en plein air.
In the evenings, you'll have the opportunity to join your peers for a variety of fun social events or take the time to relax and explore your surroundings.

Your Accommodation:
Events Acadia’s residence-turned-hotel will be our home base for the 2025 retreat.
You can either book a private room (scroll to the bottom of this page to make your booking for this option) or book a shared room which will be occupied by you and one other retreat participant here.
FEES ARE INCLUSIVE OF:
- 4 days of instruction with the chance to paint with each Master Instructor
- All evening social activities
- 3 meals and all snacks daily - for the duration of your stay
- 5 nights accommodation
- 1 goodie bag per artist registrant
All inclusive - $2,900
A 50% deposit of $1,450 (as reflected below) is due at time of registration with the balance due by March 16th, 2025.
CANCELLATION / REFUNDS:
- 100% refund is available until Feb 27th after your initial registration.
- Before March 31st we will provide a 50% refund on full payments made to date.
- After March 31st we will not be providing refunds.
- Registrations are transferable - you can gift your spot to a friend!
