Description:
Pangaea I is an artistic representation of the continental drift that created the world’s land masses. During the Permian and Triassic Periods, it was believed that all the world’s present landmasses were joined into one supercontinent called Pangaea which allowed animals to migrate between land masses. About 200 million years ago the process of plate tectonics separated each of the parts into the continents we know today.
