This diptych was inspired by the light across the lake as it filtered through the trees by the trail. The urban pathways are frequented by numerous walkers as they enjoy the fresh air from the water surface. In places the textural surface has been created by crumpled Japanese paper that is glued onto the surface with acrylic medium, If you look carefully you can see the group of children walking along the trail. They are minimally suggested as they constantly move whereas the lake an trees are permanent residents
