Current Exhibition

The annual 'On the Edge' challenge by the Federation urges artists to push creative boundaries and test their limits. Showcasing international talents, this exhibition spotlights works from those who approach art with a unique perspective.

I focus on contemporary impressionist painting centered on light, colour, and atmosphere. Inspired by the serene forests, coastlines, and city parks of the Pacific Northwest, I use expressive brushwork, texture, and luminous pigments to translate these natural impressions into poetic moments on canvas. I work both en plein air and in my Vancouver studio, creating each painting with premium oils and a deep focus on movement, harmony, and emotional resonance. Whether painted outdoors or in the studio, every piece reflects my devotion to capturing the poetry of light and place.
