This painting was created as part of a series on how we treasure, use and are inspired by our recreational spaces. This painting is of the Lockside Trail, an important commuter rail trail linking the Saanich Peninsula to the City of Victoria as well as an important recreational space for safe biking and walking. I live close to this trail and love and appreciate the multiple ways that the trail is used.
