After the long cold winter, Mother Earth warms again, to reveal a new landscape. What lies beneath is always wonderful. This painting depicts that transition between the two seasons, where the days become longer, and warmer, and the Earth begins a new year of growth. I liked the contrast between the snow and the rock, and the warm and cool colours.
