Tofino's glorious skies change quickly and unpredictability, as does mercury, or "quicksilver." I was inspired by this impermanence and I hope the large horizontal format in oil---creamy and fluid in the sky with sharper gleams on the water-- shares some of Tofino's great wonder and mystery.
