Description:
The process for this picture started with the application of many different types of textural materials-stencils, Japanese papers, metallic paints. After many layers had been applied the surface was painted with in an attempt to see what abstract shapes could be discovered . This figure became obvious as the procedure evolved from the mass of surface material. The end result is reminiscent of a fresco painting on a wall of an ancient ruin. The glazed surface gives the feeling of a figure trapped in time.

This piece will not be included in the physical exhibition on Granville Island but meets the quality standards of the FCA and is classified as, "Recognized Artwork."
