This painting is from 'The Earth Laughs In Flowers' series. In this world I'm influenced by the well-minded terrain of botanical imagery. Colour and form will always be my focus but I also wish to unearth the textural qualities of a form that may have previously escaped scrutiny. Each painting in this series exists in a distinct place and time which are responding to the pull of light, gravity and water.
