Description:
The early history of the Canadian Pacific Railway is as Canadian as it gets – it unified Canada east to west in the late 1800s.
I found this 1960s era CPR caboose in rural Saskatchewan in 2017 (the 150th Anniversary of Canada). It had some illegible graffiti overtop where the lettering would have been seen. So I created my own Canadian Pacific graffiti logotype to replace it.
In “1967 Meets 2017” (“Centennial Meets Sesquicentennial” would have been a mouthful), I updated an icon of Canada’s recent history with imagery of today.
