Description:
Extracting everything else from this painting was how I decided to make the subject stand out. I chose the grisaille technique in order to allow the viewer to feel the atmosphere, which is like when one is crossing a train track in the Okanagan on a sunny day and there is no one around, no shade, and silence for miles.
