Description:
Most of the days during our visit to Haida Gwaii last summer were overcast, but this one was not. It was mesmerizing to watch the sky and the calm sea mirror each other; clouds lazily floating above and making interesting shapes and patterns in the water and wet sand below. The frozen ripples in the sand in the immediate foreground as well as the two sandbars closer to the horizon were the only reference points to help me distinguish the reflection from the the actual sky.
