Description:
Chigiri E is a Japanese art form. I am using various torn specialty papers. Here I added some silk threads. After forming the torn papers into pleasing shapes, images begin to appear. Possibly a captured memory. When the blossoms come out here in the Okanagan in the Springtime, it leaves me breathless.

This piece will not be included in the physical exhibition on Granville Island but meets the quality standards of the FCA and is classified as, "Recognized Artwork."
