Description:
We bought bananas from this woman while in the Dominican Republic in February. With her permission I took several photos of her and created this portrait. I liked her direct, unguarded face expression along with her unique knitted cap. She is surrounded by the colours of the tropics although in reality she stood on the street in front of a building.
