I discovered my bravest self when I was diagnosed with lung disease. The courage I found will forever be coloured in blue for the deep sorrow I felt during that time. A transition period into a new way of living that meant letting go of many aspects of my life that I had loved. I faced the fight against my disease with a bravery I had no idea that I had, but it was filled with so many shades of blue.
