Description:
Alley of Shirotae Cherry(meaning white veil) trees were planted for the Japanese Canadian War Memorial Cenotaph in Stanley Park. The old alley of the large canopy creates the most elegant space among a few of this species existed in the Vancouver area. Japanese poet cherished this flower like white veil in the mountain green as change in season from spring to summer.
