Inspired by an enforced quarantine, I began to put a "Spotlight" on the color, shape and form of all the fresh vegetables and fruit delivered at my door. These grapefruit, painted with an iridescent pearl underpainting is one of my favorites, in this ten painting series presently exhibited at the Calgary Glencoe Club.
