Description:
This painting got its name from some handmade paper that is used in the piece. I bought a beautiful silk scarf in Laos which was wrapped in said paper. It responded differently to the varnish and I love the high spots and low spots of sheen that resulted. Lots of large subtle shapes contain the lively explosive shapes at the intersections. This piece features inks and art papers as well as pastes and paint. Live Jury #2
