Description:
With camera in hand strolling along a walking path on one on the coldest days in January I took a picture. This picture was taking in Fort St. John British Columbia. When I downloaded the pictures I knew I needed to paint this one. The hoarfrost hung on every branch while the sun highlighted the grasses. Back in my studio I laid down a gold under painting on the wooden panel. The gold continues to peek through the richness of blues. This picture was a pleasure to paint Fond memories of cold January days appear every time I see this painting.
