Ordinary Time (2) Working title, Geologic Time, explores our perception of time in the midst of a global pandemic and massive climate change. Are we special? Do we matter? In geologic time, the answers to these questions are both true: we are special, and we ultimately don’t matter. Human existence is the meeting point of these two contradictory truths. We ride out the days and tend to tasks at the same time, we are passengers on a continuum of earth’s constant geological change and biological evolution. Reclaimed cedar frame by Joel Gray.
