Description:
Waves always fascinate us for their dynamic movements, changes of colours with light and smoothness when the water is calm. These elements were achieved with careful rendering of water under wave contrary to very textured foam and rocks achieved with applying oil by a pallet knife. The variation of blue sky and blue water was achieved by selecting different blue pigments, such as colder French ultramarine, greenish turquoise and warmer cerulean.
