According to the Chinese zodiac, those born in the year of the Rooster are believed to be lucky. Ancient Greek lore tells of the rooster chasing away evil and darkness and summoning the light.
This rooster was a particularly special, well-mannered and charming guy, (and always up for a photoshoot). Unfortunately related to the other hens, we had to find him a new home - in my mind, I like to imagine he's still out there living his best rooster life.
