This puppy was a bundle of muscle and intensity and his new owner a man of strength and intensity yet when together they both melted into a puddle of tenderness. This painting is meant to evoke those emotions by bringing the detail down to reflect only those qualities. It is painted in two "windows" on the same canvas to further demonstrate the merging of strength and tenderness.
