Raccoons are regular visitors around my home, and their antics have provided plenty of inspiration for my artwork. They always seem to be somewhere they probably shouldn’t be — climbing, exploring and keeping a watchful eye on what the humans are doing. Fence Line Mischief captures one of those wonderfully mischievous moments, with a raccoon paused mid-adventure and looking as though it knows perfectly well it has been spotted. The bright colours bring out the personality and humour I see in these familiar backyard visitors and celebrate the wildlife encounters that can happen right outside our doors.
