These wonderful little marbles are in my treasure trove from my childhood. I found them to be an irresistible subject for my painting, as the colourful glass strands (vanes) which are the eye, in such vibrant mix of shades like red, blue, green, yellow & white take centre stage to the translucent outer sphere.
