A sparkle caught my eye, a dazzling glimmer that the thick curtain of foliage could not shroud. It was captivating, enchanting; the spell wrapped around me and drew me onwards into the forest. Easing myself between snatching branches, childhood tales came to my head. In places like this, the walls between worlds are thin. Witch brambles caught at my sleeve, the trees whispered in chorus. Surf pounded out a warning, but I’d reached my journey’s end- a jewel of a bay, a hidden treasure. This place had magic in it.
