Description:
Slightly slumped over in an office chair, his gaze meets ours. A drip of paint slowly bleeds from his chair, as if his last bit of energy escapes him. Corporate world leaves little room for emotions. My mother is from Colombia, so I grew up in a Colombia-Canadian house. Often emotions, such as love and frustration, were expressed in Spanish to me. I catch myself doing the same from time to time.
