This landscape is close to my home in the East Kootenays. The fire has impacted the area on many levels. The Big Horned Sheep are a herd that live in the area most affected by this particular fire. Animal habitats are at risk as the incidence of wildfires increases. Too, there are obvious health risks for humans.
Location:
This piece will not be included in the physical exhibition on Granville Island but meets the quality standards of the FCA and is classified as, "Recognized Artwork."
