From my latest series, "Someday".
I was tired of waiting for "someday", so I made the decision to just do the things I'd been putting off. I booked a week-long stay on Salt Spring Island, in a cabin in the woods. I attended artist workshops, visited the galleries and gift shops, explored the forest and beaches, read books, and completed four painting studies. I took many reference photos to take back to my studio, and there, the series, “Someday” was born.
