This photo was taken on our 2018 Oregon Coast/Arizona/Utah Road Trip January 15th, 2018. It was my first time driving that coast and the scenery was nothing short of spectacular. Many stops for photos and many others just looking in wonder at the amazing vistas around every corner of the road. Originally, I planned to paint this in “Group of Seven” style, but re-tweaked it realizing that the beauty of these trees was in the detail.
